5. INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE PROTOCOL
Case Priming: MANDATORY. Fill the pump case with clean hydraulic oil through the top drain port.
Bleeding Air: Loosen the air vent plug on top until oil flows without bubbles. Starting a "dry" pump will cause immediate failure of the valve plate.
Suction Check: Ensure the suction hose from the tank is not "soft" or collapsing.
Filtration: Replace the return filter (172458-62210) and clean the suction strainer.
