K. Kässbohrer founded his own company in 1893 in Ulm. The first trailer Kassbohrer was made in 1923, and in 1930 began the production of semi-liquid goods. In the second half of the twentieth century Kassbohrer established new factories, not only in Germany but also in other European countries, and in 2002 a unit Kässbohrer Tanker ve Silo bought Turkish producer Tırsan Treyler.
